Art Exhibition - Paint My World

We used primary colours to paint our paper. We mixed the colours to get the new colours. We then drew our koru patterns and cut them out. We  arranged them on black paper to make the colours show out.  Come and see our Art Work this week 25^th  – 27^th August, the exhibition is open from 8:30am until 5:30pm.

I Am Learning to Make Words that Rhyme With Nest.

Today we read the story ‘Zolar and Zina Love to Read’ on Sunshine Online. After we had read the story we had to make words that rhymed with 'est'.

" I had to make est words. It was fun. I could make all the words. I like Sunshine Online. It is fun."

I Am Learning About Describing Words

We have been learning to make our stories more interesting by using describing words. We wrote a sentence using describing words and then we used Kidpix to publish it.

"Green is my describing word. At first i thought it would be tricky to draw a butterfly on the computer but it was easy. I will try to remember to use describing words to make my stories more interesting."

Learning to Paint

We are learning to mix and blend colours. We used our skills to paint a sheet of paper. We then cut the paper into leaf shapes and arranged them on a blue painted background.
